Physician
Portfolio Project
The Physician Portfolio Project is a practical and creative application of the principles and commitments of medical professionalism.
This project uses the Physician Charter on Medical Professionalism as a vehicle to:
- Promote a common definition of medical professionalism and contextual framework
- Facilitate habits of self-assessment and self-reflection in medical students and residents through the use of self-assessment surveys, environmental scans, empathy indices, films, and narrative medicine
- Integrate available assessment tools and strategies reported in peer-review literature, 2003-2005
The ABIM Foundation has developed a package of materials that demonstrate how to develop a portfolio of activities around professionalism. To order this package, complete the request form below. You will receive your order in approximately four weeks.
