CME as a Strategic Asset for Physician Self-Assessment
The Council of Medical Specialty Societies and the Cojoint Committee on CME presents the third annual CME Summit on November 16, 2006. The Summit will focus on CME as a strategic asset for physician self- assessment. The full-day program will include several noted guest speakers and will offer significant opportunity for interaction and audience participation.

ACP Foundation National Health Communication Conference
The American College of Physicians (ACP) Foundation will host its Fifth Annual National Health Communications Conference, Moving Toward Real Solutions: Advances to Address Low Health Literacy, on November 29, 2006. The conference will be co-sponsored by the Institute of Medicine and held at the National Academy of Sciences in Washington, DC.

Experts in health literacy and health communication will convene to present findings on operational solutions to the problems of low health literacy that have been implemented and evaluated in the field.
